Kaylie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) through the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. She received her BS in Recreational Therapy from ECU (East Carolina University) and practiced as a Recreational Therapist and returned to ECU to earn her MS in Clinical Counseling. Kaylie also earned special certifications in Rehabilitation Counseling, and Military &Trauma Counseling.
Kaylie utilizes a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered techniques, and biblical principles. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are and walking with them through life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and care. Kaylie believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and focuses on building safety, trust, and collaboration with each individual she serves.
Kaylie has experience working with children, adolescents, and provides support for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions. She is committed to helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they work toward healing and personal growth. Kaylie will be training in the principles and techniques of Redecision Therapy (Transactional Analysis) through The Kohler Group, PLLC as she expands her skill set to serve her clients.
